I am an associate professor at the Institute of Energy, Environment and Economy, Tsinghua University. My main research interests are the economic and environmental analyses of China's energy and climate policies. Under the Tsinghua-MIT China Energy and Climate Project, I have been developing a multi-regional computable general equilibrium (CGE) model with detailed disaggregation of China (the China Regional Energy Model, C-REM). I am also involved in research projects dealt with integrated assessment and power system modelling. I am serving as an associate editor for the Journal of Global Economic Analysis.

Previously, I worked at MIT Joint Program on the Science and Policy of Global Change,the Department of Management, Technology, and Economics D-MTEC, ETH Zurich, China National Renewable Energy Center, and Northern Light Venture Capital. I received my Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Energy, Environment and Economy, Tsinghua University, China, and bachelor degree from the Department of Industrial Engineering, Tsinghua University, China.
